Consistency

Let me share something that fitness and, honestly, being a personal trainer long term has taught me. Get rich quick schemes do not ever work.

Everyone says hard work pays off. While I don’t disagree with that, medium work, as long as it’s consistent, almost always pays off.

Something as simple as writing these blog posts. Heck, this isn’t hard work for me. I love talking about health and fitness (especially nutrition and corrective exercise). This is easy work at best. BUT. I have at least 3 blog posts a week and I engage with my community.

Consistency.

Starting small habitual behaviors stack over time. Something as simple as going for a fifteen-minute walk 3 days a week. Consistently. That will make a major improvement in your health and fitness.

One thing I have never been called is lazy. Maybe a little eccentric or out-there, but never lazy 😅. When there is work to be done that will better my situation, I do it.

Working out isn’t about punishment. In fact, it’s one of the most positive things that will change your life for the better. Physical fitness isn’t actually the best result. Crazy right? The mental and character changes that happen are the biggest impacts in your day to day. Learning about discipline, consistency, getting small victories, trying new things, being open minded, and way more.

I would not be the business mind that I am today without becoming a personal trainer. My priority is helping people, both physically and mentally, to better their lives in every aspect.

Stay tuned. I’ve got a lot more to say.
