I’m not on a “diet”

If you’re tired of constantly being asked why you’re not eating certain foods or why you’re eating so “healthy,” you’re not alone. It can be frustrating to feel like you’re constantly being judged or scrutinized for your food choices, especially when you’re just trying to take care of yourself and feel good.

One way to combat this is to simply tell people that you’re not on a diet, you’re just making choices that make you feel good. This can be a simple and effective way to shift the focus from weight loss or restriction to self-care and self-improvement.

Eating healthy can mean different things to different people. For some, it may mean incorporating more fruits and vegetables into their meals, while for others it may mean cutting out processed foods or focusing on whole, unrefined ingredients. Whatever your definition of healthy eating may be, the important thing is that it makes you feel good both physically and mentally.

There are countless benefits to eating healthy, including increased energy, improved mood, and better overall health. When you focus on the way you feel rather than a specific weight or appearance goal, you may find that you’re more motivated to make healthy choices. It’s a positive, empowering approach that can help you develop a healthy relationship with food.

Of course, it’s important to remember that everyone is different and what works for one person may not work for another. It’s okay to experiment and find what works best for you. Just be sure to listen to your body and pay attention to how different foods make you feel.

In the end, it’s all about balance. It’s okay to indulge in your favorite treats from time to time, but if you find that you feel better overall when you eat healthier, there’s no harm in letting people know that’s your focus. Don’t be afraid to prioritize your own well-being and take control of your own health journey.
