New Release: Master Course in Stability & Mobility
Are you tight? Are you in chronic pain from tight quads, hip flexors, overpronation in the foot, or others? Can you not go into a deep squat? Are you hitting a plateau and not realizing it’s due to your lack of stabilization? Are you completely healthy but looking for a workout that is geared toward a fully functional human being? This course is specifically designed to adhere to all of the above.
Stretching is a great way to recover, releasing tightness immediately, and getting blood into a muscle. It even helps muscle growth. But it pales in comparison to mobility training when trying to improve flexibility. Think about a rubber band. You stretch it, and it lengthens, but when you let go it snaps back into place. Now let’s take that same rubber band, heat it up when lengthened, and now it stays longer than it was before. I know that’s a loose metaphor, but it’s fairly similar to what happens during mobility training. Stretching into a lengthened position, and then sending a muscle-building signal in that position to tell the central nervous system that you need to be STRONG in that position. Not just bendy.
The difference between flexibility and mobility is this: How far can your muscles stretch, and how long are your muscles already not stretched? What if you could comfortably be in a lengthened position already? WITH STRENGTH. If you can’t get into a deep squat without your heels rising, this is why.
